OH! Edged and Hornchurch clinch a thriller with one ball to spare! They almost messed up a straight-forward game! Chasing 95 for victory, Hornchuch were in trouble early on as George Hankins and Chris Sains departed in the Powerplay itself. However, Adeel Malik took the match by storm as he smashed seven sixes to put Hornchuch in front. However, William Peatfield brought Independents into the game by removing Malik in the eighth over.

Just when the pressure was building on Hornchurch in the penultimate over, Anthony Stokes bowled a flighted delivery which was smashed over the fence by Ronnie Saunders. That strike turned out to be crucial as it brought the equation to less than run-a-ball. Yet, there was more drama as Jake Roussel followed up a dot ball with a wicket as Hornchuch suddenly needed four runs off two balls. This is when Luke Edwards edged it to the third fence and took his side over the line!
